Child/Adolescent, Individual, and Couples Therapy Services
Katie is committed to creating an inviting, safe, and judgment-free space for individuals and families from all backgrounds. A central focus of her work is Couples Therapy, where she helps partners cultivate healthier patterns of interaction, repair ruptures, and build deeper, more meaningful connection.
In addition to her work with couples, Katie supports youth and adults navigating social, emotional, or behavioral challenges—including anxiety, depression, OCD, and significant life transitions. She also partners with parents who are seeking fresh, effective approaches for supporting their children.
Across all areas of her practice, Katie’s priority is to offer a warm, compassionate environment where clients feel truly understood. Her goal is to be a steady ally as each person or couple moves toward growth, healing, and lasting change.

When she’s not in the office, Katie is most often soaking up the Carolina outdoors with her husband, Brian, their daughters, Addison and Posey, and their beloved pup, Winnie. Whether she’s hiking, camping, or skiing, Katie is always up for an adventure. She also loves running along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, sipping coffee at Bridge City, getting lost in a good book, and rewatching the greatest show ever made: The Office (yes, she will die on that hill).
Katie’s approach is eclectic and deeply relational, with an emphasis on understanding the emotional and relational forces that shape human behavior rather than focusing solely on surface-level problems. She helps clients explore underlying needs, protective patterns, and emotional responses that developed for important reasons, often in the context of past experiences and relationships.
Through active listening, curiosity, and reflective questioning, Katie works to understand each client’s internal world with compassion and clarity. Therapy is a collaborative process in which she and her clients partner to increase self-awareness, reduce reactivity, and create new, more secure patterns—both within themselves and in their relationships—in order to move toward meaningful, lasting change.
